Parent Teacher Meetings and Communication
Calwell High School holds Parent Teacher Meetings in Week 8 every term.
Parents are invited to Parent Teacher Meetings through a letter sent along with student progress reports.
Parents are always welcome at Parent Teacher Meetings, however there may be times where we request an interview to meet with you for a range of reasons. Often new staff will request a meeting to allow you the opportunity to meet them and to discuss their teaching methods and to just put a face to a name.
Parents are encouraged to contact teachers, executive teachers and year co-ordinators with their questions, concerns and any information they would like use to know at any time throughout the school year.
The best communication methods are:
Email - All staff emails are firstname.lastname@ed.act.edu.au.
Phone - Call the front office on 6142 1930 and request to speak to the relevant staff member.
Permission Notes and Forms
Parents can support their student/s and the school by ensuring all contact and medical information is up to date at all times.
Please ensure that all permission notes and forms are completed in full and in a timely manner. Permission notes and forms assist the school in providing a safe and productive learning environment for your student/s.
All current permission notes for school events are available through our school app. The app is available for free on any iOS, Android or Windows device. It can be downloaded through the App Store, Windows Store or Play Store.
